We spent the last 3 years working with people and helping them get jobs. Now we have a huge database of skilled people who are available for work. If anyone know of any available jobs, we have the capacity to fill them and thereby helping people to add value to the economy and local communities.

Special thanks to all the kind generous people out there who have donated food to our food bank community pantry. Our program for the food bank involves not only supporting single parents, but also siting with those who need the pantry and helping them work out how to increase their income and how to budget. Feeding people isn't a solution in itself. It requires an outcome towards fixing the problems being experienced.

Come support our Youth in Business Class launching their first business and demonstrating how to MAKE a job instead of WAITING for a job. This is the next generation taking street talent and turning it into business that generates an income. These kids will have the skills to launch their own businesses before they leave school!

At our last Bounce Back program, we were blessed to be donated bearly 100 pairs of brand new and some nearly used sports shoes for our disadvantaged kids. They were so blown away as many of the shoes were high quality Nikes, Jordan's, Adidas, Reeboks and many more. Most of these kids have never owned decent shoes and immediately put on the new shoes and started to play and feel cared for. It's amazing what something small can do to lift someone's spirits and restore a persons faith in humanity. These kids are our future. We will get out what ever we put in. You want a future of thugs and criminals, treat people like that. You want a future with kind hearted individuals running this country, then treat kids with love and respect.

Spent this afternoon working at this amazing Drug Rehabilitation Centre helping to get people off drugs. It's one of the only places left in Australia that can do it naturally and doesn't need to use the methadone to get people off. I am learning this process to be able to bring these solutions to our people on the ground who have fallen into the trap and become addicted. There is a way out.

Our bounce back program this week had the highest attendance from kids off the streets. We had one 14yr old kid that doesn't go to school, showing us how it's done on the streets!

Myself and a couple of the brothers were invited to speak at a national workers gathering regarding equal rights in the work place and how to deal with violations of workers rights. This is becoming more and more of a common situation, especially for New Zealand Citizens. One of many examples is that NZ citizens have to pay super like everyone else, but when they retire, they cannot get access to those funds at all. There are ways around this and many other solutions for others violations. That is what we were sharing.

It's 12am midnight and I'm in my home under the blanket watching a movie with my wife. I get a text from one of kids I am teaching from one of my youth mentoring projects and she is hiding in a bush near her house because a family member is trying to harm her with a knife to the point she just barley got out of the house through a window. It's not the first time and it's her legal guardian and the police have taken her away and placed her in foster care a few times before but she ends up back at home and the domestic violence happens again. She doesn't have anyone else she can call, so I drive an hour and a half out to where she is and arrive at 1:30am to find her in the bush completely shaken and distraught. I just got home 3am and gave her a place to stay safe, warm and dry, for tonight. This is the 4th kid this week that has reached out to me for help due to domestic violence and all under 16yrs old and one was beaten and left in a pool of blood. Tomorrow I'm going to start a fund raising project for this girl to launch a micro business that will give her an income stream so she can survive on the street. I'm going to teach her how to stay alive and stay out of trouble with the law while being able to afford to rent a room somewhere safe, get food, continue to go to school and keep getting paid. In the mean time, my message to those parents out there that beat and bash their kids is this: Treat others how you would like to be treated! And you will find that others will cooperate a lot easier and you will gain respect. We need Domestic Respect, not Domestic Violence.

Last week myself and one of the brothers were invited to give a talk to the leaders of a woman's empowerment movement that is happening across Melbourne. The purpose of the talk was to inspire them with ideas of how to become financially sustainable and independent from relying on govt funding!

Tonight we had a specialist from a drug rehab facility come in and speak to our Bounce Back Kids teaching them how addiction works and how to get off drugs naturally. The kids had a lot of questions and learned a lot tonight which can change their lives forever. Prevention is the key to resolving the problem.

Tonight myself and some of the Pacific Leaders initiated a project to unite the pacific community with each of the most respected and high profile leaders of the multicultural community here in the state of Victoria. We started the collaboration with the Asian, Indian and African most respected opinion leaders to unite our communities in the fight against common problems we face which include drugs, crime and literacy. One of the most highly respected leaders in the South East Asian community Parsuram Sharma-Luital gave us the opportunity and opened the door for the pacific community to unite with all these leaders. The highlight for me was the opportunity to sit and talk with the NZ Minister of Corrections about a new collaboration between Australia and New Zealand where we will play a influential role in reforming the prison systems to start flushing out the corruption and human rights abuses.

As leaders of the Polynesian community myself and the brother Marcell Dean Putaura were invited to a closed door meeting with the NZ Federal Labour Minister for Corrections, a representative for the Liberal govt in Australia and the head of Law at Latrobe University. We were able to be a part of formulating new policies and ideas around handling Human Rights for Migrants in Australia. It was an honour to be a part of shaping the future for all those who are being treated unfairly and un equally in this country.

These are the students from our Youth in Business class who are about to launch their first business venture next week. It's an Event Managment company and they are holding a Youth Talent Quest as their first event. If you can make it down to Narre Warren Sth P-12 college Wednesday 14th Sept 5:30pm start. This is some of the fresh Aboriginal talent coming straight off the streets of the South East! attending our program tonight.

Our Bounce Back kids off the streets program is growing every week. Tonight we had our biggest group so far, and they are all the same kids that come every week who bring more kids each time! We have a mix of Aboriginal, African, Pacific Islander kids (boys and girls) all coming together to attend this training boot camp and be mentored by our volunteer youth role models. It's now a fully structured program with personal training, mentoring, skills training and professional games. All designed to address any level of skill. The kids love it and keep coming back.

It's so important for our kids to know their culture and history. It gives them a moral grounding and teaches them about a huge network they have at their fingertips. My background is Samoan and my Wife is from Taiwan. My daughter is only 6 but she has now fully mastered the Chinese language and is fully fluent in conversation. Now she has started Samoan Language school and is learning the Samoan Language, Dance, and Culture!

We always start our programs off with a mentoring session to put down a new positive message on real street survival skills on how to stay away from the negative influences out there. This week we taught the kids how to never compromise with your own instincts. Your own instincts will tell you what's right and what's wrong. You don't actually need anyone to tell you. But when you go against your own integrity, is the day you will land yourself in trouble. They got that message today load and clear! ;)

Today we also finished prepping and setting up two food banks in Melbourne's South East. We've spent the last month building up Bese food banks from nothing to now fully operational and ready to serve the community. We are doing them in partnership with local churches who are providing the space where we can operate the food banks from. Our FoodBanks will supply food, but also everyone that signs up will be also offered free financial counselling to help with home budgeting and meal planning. Also around bills and debts and income sources. The idea is to create an outcome where a person no longer is in need for a food bank service. That is our goal. One of our biggest events this year will be the prestigious Pacific Triangle Community Awards. This will be a red carpet event and will be the first of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere. Nominations are now open. You can inbox me their names and why you think they should be nominated. I'll post up the award categories shortly. We will hold this event in November at a prestigious location which we are locking in at the moment! Award Categories are: Sport, Community, Youth, Entrepreneur, politics, Performing and Fine Art, and Justice. You are welcome to message me any nominations you can think of.

While at our street smart self defence program Domestic Respect, this was the moment just before the Grand Master nearly broke my finger while demonstrating how to disarm someone pointing a gun at you from 6 feet away in 0.2 of a second. This is the technique he used to train the US Navy Seal Team 7, to disarm an enemy while in close quarter combat. Another skill to add to the arsenal.
